Activity Find (Activity Search)

There are two ways to initiate an Activity search: 

  • Activity > Find Activities
  • Used the Find icon on the toolbar and select Activities  
With the search window displayed, select the search type and enter your criteria: 
  • Activities searches all Activities assigned to a user. Administrators have access to all Activities, however non-administrative users will only be able to search for  Activities assigned to their user ID. The search can be narrowed by selecting from the Status and Due Date fields. 
  • Simple searches based on a single search criterion. A simple search cannot be saved.  
  • Advanced  searches based on multiple criteria.  Advanced searches can be saved with a name and recalled at a later time.  
You can also select how your results will display: 
  • Normal to list each contact for each match
  • Summary to list each contact only once 

Activity Search Results

The results of an Activity search will appear in the list view display under the Activity Results tab. To edit a record, simply click on it. 

Export Activities

Activity records can be exported from ContactEase using either a simple or an advanced export: 

  • A simple export includes fields from the Activity record, such as type, status, subject, contact name, etc.  
  • An advanced export can include many other fields.  Depending on what you want to see, one of the below export methods should work for you.
