Clipboard Layouts

Clipboard Layouts allow you to copy specific fields into a pre-formatted clipboard for use in any Windows-based application.  For example, you could find a record in ContactEase and then copy the name, address, and a salutation from the database directly into a Word document.  This saves time and reduces errors by using the data as it exists in ContactEase. 

A clipboard layout can be used for any purpose.  All that is necessary is to define the layout and then when needed, simply access the clipboard layouts and select the desired format.  The data is now in the clipboard for use in any Windows-based application. 

To access Clipboard Layouts, go to File > Preferences > Clipboard Layouts.
