New Contact Record

 One of the easiest ways to add a new record to ContactEase is using the New button located on the lower left-hand side of your screen.
 
Click the button to activate the dialog. Enter the information for the new contact record. This will initiate a duplicate search. If a potential duplicate is found you will need to decide if it is a true duplicate or move forward to add a new record.
If no potential duplicates are found, a new record will be created. 

From the New button, you can also click the down arrow to add: 
  • New contact at this company, same address
  • New contact at this company, new address
While clicking the new button will create a new record no matter the record currently displayed, selecting either of these two options will create a new record for the company listed.    
In addition to the New button, the Record menu located at the top of the screen (or shortcut Ctrl + R) may be used to perform any of these actions.
