New Record at This Company
There are options available to you in the New button when adding a new contact record to ContactEase:
- New Record (Ctrl+R)
- New contact at this company, same address
- New contact at this company, new address
Choosing New Record is the same as clicking directly on the New button and simply initiates the process to add a new contact record.
The other options copy fields onto the new record.
These options can be accessed using the New button or the Record menu at the top of the display.
Using either method, you can:
- Create a new record
- Create a new record using the same company name and address at the record currently displayed
- Create a new record using the same company name as the record currently displayed
New Contact at this Company, Same Address
When selecting "New contact at this company, same address" this option refers to the company and address currently displayed. A new contact will be added and the system will copy all of the linked fields to the new record automatically.
