Outlook Form

Outlook users will see a custom form when they access their contacts. 

CRM Categories displays the categories assigned to the contact record displayed. Note: these are not the same as Outlook categories which appear at the bottom of the form. Outlook categories are specific to the user. This button allows your users to assign ContactEase categories to (or remove ContactEase categories from) the contact currently displayed. 

CRM Details allows the user to see additional ContactEase data. When the CRM Details button is clicked, a separate window opens showing additional data including information about Relations, Activity, Assignments, Tracking, and History information for the contact displayed.   

Known By lists all users with this record in their Outlook contacts.  Users can invite other users in the firm to share the contact by clicking Invite. 

Client/Matter shows the client/matter numbers assigned to the contact displayed. Users can click this button to link the displayed contact to additional client/matter numbers.

The dropdown list next to the CRM Details button provides the user with options to designate the displayed contact: 

  • Shared contacts are contributed to ContactEase
  • Personal contacts are visible to the user any proxies 
  • Private contacts are visible only to the user
